1. Introduction
Stayforlong offers an optional Price Drop Protection (PDP) service, allowing customers to secure the lowest available price for their booking. By purchasing this service, customers agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Service Description
The PDP service is a paid add-on that is available at the time of booking. If the price of the booked hotel decreases before the first applicable cancellation policy takes effect, the customer will be refunded the difference with the lower price before the check-in date. The most significant drop will be applied when multiple price drops occur within a single day.
3. Eligibility and Conditions
The PDP service is exclusively available for booking with no prepayment at the moment of the booking.
The PDP fee is dynamically calculated and presented during the booking process.
Bookings must be made under the same price credentials (e.g., "Desktop" pricing) to qualify for price drop adjustments.
Customers will benefit from the lowest detected price until the applicable cancellation deadline.
4. Payment and Refund Process
The full booking amount will be charged on the established payment date.
If a price drop is detected, Stayforlong will automatically refund the difference before the check-in date.
Customers will receive an email notification indicating whether a price drop was identified and refunded.
If no price drop is detected, the original payment amount remains unchanged.
It may take up to 10 days for the refund to appear in the customer bank account.
5. Important Considerations
The PDP service fee is non-refundable, even in cases where no price drop is detected.
If the booking is canceled or modified, the PDP service fee will not be refunded.
In case of modification, the new booking is not eligible for price drop as the conditions changed.
Customers may opt out of receiving price drop notifications; however, the PDP fee remains non-refundable.
6. Notifications
Customers will receive an email confirming whether a price drop was detected and refunded.
Notifications will be sent after the cancellation policy kicks in and once the refund has been processed.
