Ellesmere House

Ellesmere is a stunning family-run, home-from-home B&B featured in The Daily Telegraph and Country Life magazine. It is a large, three-floored, double-fronted Victorian property on the edge of Castle Cary, a few minutes walk from the main high street, backing onto fields and farmland accessible via the large garden directly from the back. The rooms are beautifully decorated, are all a good size, have TVs, wifi, kettles, breakfast drinks, mini fridges, hairdryers and use of an iron. Two have Nespresso coffee machines and one has an old gramophone. Families are welcome. Parking is free and is either directly outside the house or in our drive on request. Our breakfasts are generous and include home-made granola and muesli as well as home-made jams and marmalade. Our eggs come from a local smallholding and bread is freshly baked locally. We cater for all dietary requirements and use as much of our own home-made or locally-sourced produce as possible. We do evening meals on request.
