Safari Lodge is situated just 400m from the beach on a land area of 2.06Ha, located on Cape Tribulation Road. Cape Tribulation is 110 km north of Cairns and is located within the heart of the Daintree National Park and Wet Tropics World Heritage area. The Daintree Rainforest is home to some of the oldest rainforest on earth with more than 3,000 species of plants and 315 mammal species, 13 of which are indigenous only to the Daintree area. This World Heritage listed rainforest is adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef, located 19km due east. The Daintree is the only destination in the world where two World Heritage areas meet. The journey to Cape Tribulation from Cairns requires the crossing of the Daintree River on a car ferry, adding to the charm and overall experience. The scenic road is sealed through to Cape Tribulation, ensuring easy access.
