Data collection by Ingenico e-commerce Solutions

You are also informed that, within the framework of your order, the "Fraud Expert" solution is used as a complement to the remote payment processing system; your personal data is the object of processing managed by the company Ingenico e-Commerce Solutions SPRL, whose purpose is the prevention and fight against fraud (determine the level of risk associated with a transaction, detect and manage the resulting possible alerts, inform merchants so that they can make decisions, perform a "human" verification of transactions that present a certain level of risk, develop scoring models).

For this, the collection of some of your personal data is essential. If it is not carried out, your transaction could be delayed or interrupted and the order cancelled.

This data is intended for the services provided by the entities of Ingenico e-Commerce Solutions that are involved in the current processing work and the merchant, as well as any other party whose intervention is necessary for the correct implementation of the payment process and the functioning of the services offered.

In addition, a fraud may result in the registration of some of your personal data in a specific file created by Ingenico e-Commerce Solutions SPRL; the purpose of this file is to preserve a trail of previous frauds, in particular, to provide information for the evaluation criteria of the risks associated with the transactions and the model scores used for this purpose. The inclusion in this file could also lead to an aggravated risk for the future order placed on a merchant in the same sector of activity that has chosen the Fraud Expert solution and, consequently, that their order be rejected.

In accordance with the provisions relating to the protection of personal data, you have a right to access your data for consultation, access and rectification, as well as having the right to oppose, for a legitimate reason, in accordance with the Fraud Expert solution, to your data being the object of this processing. You can exercise this right by sending an e-mail to the following address: Ingenico e-Commerce Solutions SPRL - Service juridique «protection de la vie privée» - Boulevard de la Woluwe 102 – B-1200 Bruxelles (Belgium) or by email: privacy@ecom.ingenico.com, enclosing a copy of a signed identity document.
