The Residence is the restoration of the Château Royal, in the town-centre.The building is a national monument because of its historical importance. Over the centuries the Residence has been a bishop’s palace, then residence of the King Vittorio Emanuele II when hunting in the reserve, now Gran Paradiso National Park.
