Masonic Hotel Waitara is an 8 guest room hotel with newly renovated rooms situated just next to the Waitara River, and a short walk to Waitara Beach.15 km northeast of New Plymouth and a great place to base yourself when you want to explore Taranaki's wonderful attractions.All rooms have ensuites, TVs, tea making, fridge, luxury bed linen, bathroom amenities, wireless internet. Continental breakfast free and room service cooked breakfasts available at a charge. There is a small casino bar on the premises, which closes usually before 10pm every night. A childs playground just across the road alongside the river. We have two golf clubs in Waitara and many of the locals enjoy the fishing. There is a private guest lounge. We are in the town center, so there is great access to shops, yet we are away from the bustle of New Plymouth. We welcome children, and those under 12 stay free in existing bedding. We also have fold out beds/portacot that can be added to a room subject to availability.Our restaurant now serves dinner as well.
