Intersail hostel Amsterdam

A small family owned boat hostel located in the city center of Amsterdam. Within 15 minutes from the Central station, Nieuwmarkt, red light district and Dam square(palace). Nearby enough to be able to travel to all places within half an hour but just far away enough for a quiet night! The rooms and beds are small and the walls are thin, but we have character and a great breakfast. We all try our upmost best to have our guests feel at home and make sure all of the guests are aware of the boat situation, meaning that after 22h we ask everybody to be quiet in the sleeping area to allow everybody to sleep properly. Of course we have a nice saloon/ lounge where you sit in the evening, have a drink with your friends or play one of our numerous board games. We welcome all kinds of travellers, families, couples, elderly and friends, just keep in mind we are on a boat so you have to be able to climb some stairs and squeeze in our berths without a problem.
