Kool Kampot

Kool Kampot is a British owned and run guesthouse on the riverfront of Prek Tuek Chhou River, providing comfortable, secure, and affordable accommodation with free high-speed WiFi throughout the building. The property is a short stroll along the riverside esplanade to the main bars, restaurants, and shops of Kampot town. Our private superior and standard rooms are all fitted with both air conditioning and ceiling fans. Our private double room with shared bathroom comes with a ceiling fan. All rooms include bed linen, bath towels, complimentary toiletries, hot shower, fridge, closet, private safe, kettle, tea, coffee, and bottled water. Our spacious six-bed dormitory is air conditioned from 7pm to 7am, and a hot high-pressure shower in the bathroom. Each bunk gets its own fan, light, and power outlet. Dorm beds come with two pillows and a blanket, bath towels, complimentary toiletries, a water dispenser, shelves and closet space, plus a large private locker for each guest. Free high-speed WiFi (60mbps) is available in all rooms, private balconies, lounge areas, the terrace, and the rooftop bar. The unique building dating from the 1960s retains visible scars of Cambodia’s troubled history, and provides a large rooftop area where guests can relax and enjoy bar drinks while taking in spectacular views of Bokor Mountain and the river. The rooftop is the ideal place to practice dawn yoga, watch sunsets or electrical storms, or simply star gaze late into the night. The lower terrace offers similar views but offers more privacy and shade from the midday sun, and is the perfect place to relax, catch up on emails, play the guitar or read books in one of several hammocks, or try your skill with some pool or billiards with friends or other guests. Kool Kampot offers two additional indoor quiet lounge areas with sofas, tables, and ceiling fans. Creative travellers, artists, musicians, and writers are particularly fond of the location for its tranquility, atmosphere, and views. Kool Kampot can arrange local tours, onwards travel, scooter hire, and luggage storage.
