Villa Biondelli is a luxurious wine resort nestled in the heart of Franciacorta. Following a meticulous renovation, this Villa, that dates back to 1711, opens its gates to “dolce vita” lovers, to wine enthusiasts and to cinema connoisseurs. During World War II, Ambassador Giuseppe Biondelli di Piacenza hosted in this Villa the movie production of “The Singing Princess”, Europe’s first animated cartoon (inspired by the “Arabian Nights” and dubbed in its English version by Julie Andrews). The imaginary characters of this fairy tale still live at Villa Biondelli and confer a dreamy and exotic tone to the eleven suites and to all the common areas: 1200 square meters in total and 2 hectares of listed gardens. The recent renovation, while carefully maintaining intact the atmosphere of this aristocratic abode, provided Villa Biondelli with all modern amenities. Independent air conditioning, Wi-Fi rooters, heat and sound insulation, mini-bars and flat screen tvs, are masterfully concealed by original furniture, precious silks and refined drapes. Villa Biondelli is the most recent development of a longstanding project focused on Italian Champagne. The core activity is the production of high end Organic Franciacorta Sparkling Wines. Italy’s last well kept secret. Biondelli Franciacorta wines have achieved the most prestigious international prizes (CSWWC gold medal and “best in class” winners 5 years running). Set in the middle of our organic vineyards, Villa Biondelli is a 20 minutes drive from Milano Orio Airport and 40 minutes away from Linate Airport. A 15 minutes drive will take you to Lake Iseo, 3rd best European Tourist Destination 2019 and home to Christo’s Floating Piers project in 2016.
