Giardini Mon Plaisir

Giardini Mon Plaisir is a unique charming place in the heart of Trapani, on the north-west side of Sicily. Originally, it was a vegetable garden owned by the historic Adragna family, then, in the 19th century, it became a summer house with a huge garden. In the past it collected refined artworks, today it is a luxury maison de charme with 4 rooms and 2 Suites; they are wide and bright, located on 2 floors, with a small tower overlooking the elegant building. The villa hosts up to 16 people. A careful restoration has kept the orginal use of the areas of the property and many decors have been faithfully recovered, such as the Art nouveau floors and some frescoes on the ceiling. The villa is today a charming and quiet spot in the city centre, in perfect balance between the functional modern furniture, the natural light of the windows and glass walls and the beauty of refined ancient items. Guests are brought back to the welcoming environment of the traditional Sicilian families. The property features a lush garden (3.500 sq.m) with statues and fountains, a Sicilian vegetable garden, boulevards under the shadow of centuries-old trees, elegant and bright internal rooms (such as the dining room and the living room), a pool, a terrace and a private roof garden in the small tower, a winter garden, an Al Fresco dining room, a gym and fitness room. It is a charming spot to discover the authentic side of Sicily.
