Castello di Cernusco Lombardone

Located at 27 km. from Milan, Bergamo and 25 to 18 from the Lecco branch of Lake Como, the Old Castle is located in the City of Cernusco Lombardone. Its history dates back to Roman times up. It was born as "Castellum" outpost of territorial control, passing then to the Lombards, the Catalans and the Milanese Visconti emerged victorious from the war with Torrini who had allied Cernusco. Between the years 1994/1995 is completely renovated. The restoration took place under the supervision of the Superintendency of Environmental and Architectural Heritage of Lombardy, these are historic building subject to the provisions laid down by law, and being a "National Monument".
