From May to September, “Il Grotto” is a haven for everyone loving Umbria’s serenity and the lively activity of its towns. Just a short walk away from the medieval town Bevagna, “Il Grotto” is located on a gentle hill with a breathtaking view of the below Valle Umbra.Your hosts are a German couple, by profession a stage designer and an actor, who have been living in this wonderful place for several years. In 2008 they rebuilt their home in order to accommodate their guests and to offer a quiet place for them to rest, be entertained and replenish energies while enjoying fine food.The rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean.Moreover, “Il Grotto” also is a cultural association: a meeting point for whomever enjoys resting in the quietness of the hillside, under the refreshing shadow of a fig tree, while listening to the notes of a concert or taking pleasure in a movie under a starry sky. Here you can meet new people or linger in tranquility, engage in a game of chess under a pine or simply chill out. To ensure a pleasant and unique stay we serve delicious home made meals and wonderful regional wines.
