Y Talbot Tregaron

Y Talbot is a characterful Inn with bar, restaurant and rooms situated on the town square in the bustling market town of Tregaron. Renowned for its excellent hospitality and food Y Talbot is listed in the Michelin Guide and has been awarded two AA Rosettes. Fine locally sourced fish, lamb, beef and cheeses are showcased on the extensive menu. Welsh ales and ciders are also featured. There is an attractive landscaped garden to the rear, ideal for al fresco dining. There is ample free parking in the Square at the front of the building and private parking to the rear as well as secure lock up facilities for bikes and motorbikes . The nine Superior bedrooms and suites have been renovated to a very high standard, offering a high level of comfort to guests with sumptuous bathrooms featuring superb walk in showers (two of the suites also also have baths). Families with children can be accomodated in our top floor suite and garden suites. The four Standard rooms offer simpler accomodation to suit a tighter budget. Y Talbot welcomes guests with limited mobility, our Ground floor Accessible room may be accessed without steps or ramps, there are also accessible toilets on the ground floor. We pride ourselves on our local, Welsh speaking staff who offer a warm "Croeso" (Welcome) to guests from near and far.
