Opposite the green on the main street of Elvington, the Grey Horse Inn is a picture-postcard village inn dating back to the 17th century. Window boxes adorn the whitewashed frontage, and picnic tables are set outside in the summer. The interior is equally charming, with a wealth of wood, subtle lighting and plenty of cozy seating enhancing the welcoming ambiance.
