The Chequers Inn

A 15-minute drive from the centre of historic Oxford, this three-story inn is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds. Wi-Fi is free throughout The Chequers Inn, and there is free private parking on site. New owners from 20 December 2018. Guests can enjoy a drink in the charming bar, with its flagstone floor and old oak beams. Fantastic food is served in the restaurant. Rooms at The Chequers Inn are elegant and traditionally furnished, and each one benefits from a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and an en suite bathroom. Picturesque Aylesbury is a 45-minute drive from the building. The world-famous Oxford University buildings can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Invoices must be requested upon arrival.

Breakfast is inclusive in all booked rooms. Monday - Friday Breakfast is 7:30am - 9am, Saturday - Sunday Breakfast is 8am-9:30am The restaurant is closed between lunch and dinner 3pm-5pm. The Chequers Inn allows pets on the property at a charge of GBP 20 per pet per night. Please note check in times are 12 noon - 14:00 and 17:00 - 21:00. The Chequers Inn is closed in the afternoons. On Sunday we close at 14:00, with no service in the evening. If guests require a different check in time please call The Chequers Inn 48 hours prior to arrival.
