The Castle Inn

The Castle Inn, Lydford is a quintessential 16th century inn with nine bedrooms resting on the fringes of Dartmoor National Park. We are surrounded by invigorating walks, horse trails and national cycle routes, with cosy corners and roaring fires in the winter months and large beautiful gardens to enjoy in the summer, there’s something for everyone year round. The pub has a main bar, snug, restaurant and lounge, nine bedrooms and large beautiful gardens. Our menu is full of pub and British classics, our food is traditional, homemade and honest and our ingredients sourced from local producers. The bedrooms offer a calm, simple space to unwind and relax at prices starting from £75 including breakfast. We are family friendly and four legged friends are very welcome as well. Most importantly we aim to provide genuine, warm and friendly hospitality to all our guests, so whether you are a local from up the road or a visitor from afar we hope to welcome you time and time again.
