Moor View House

Moorview House is a Victorian licensed guest house placed on the edge of the beautiful and panoramic setting of Dartmoor, between Okehampton and Tavistock. The guesthouse has been lovingly restored and upgraded to provide a comfortable and relaxing home by David and Wendy Sharples over the last 19 years. During this time the property has been upgraded to AA Highly Commended 5 Gold Star licensed guest house accommodation; together with recognition for providing a very special dinner with emphasis on freshly prepared local ingredients. Meals on request are served in a large dining room and guests have the choice of two sitting rooms one of which leads to a large conservatory overlooking the garden to the Cornish countryside beyond. On colder days log fires are provided, whilst during the warm weather it is delightful to enjoy a drink in the garden. The setting sun in the west is a sight to behold. The guesthouse consists of 4 x en-suite double rooms including one twin. All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TVs, and bathrobes.
