Once upon a time, around 1838 The Earl of Durham built a hunting lodge on his estate in an amazing location. Close to Durham, Sunderland and the North East coastline. He shared this lodge with his many important visitors, which has inspired us to do the same. We have renovated this beautiful Georgian hunting lodge and created The Hideaway at Herrington Hill, one of the newest, luxury B&B's on the border of Sunderland and Durham. The Hideaway is a semi rural secluded haven removed from the real world but close enough to all main roads giving quick access to Sunderland, Durham, Newcastle and beyond...
