Chine Hotel

Believed by many to be the best kept secret in Bournemouth. The Gallery Restaurant offers superb cuisine which is matched only by its fantastic views over the tree tops and out to sea. All 79 rooms at The Chine are well-appointed, many with breath taking sea views and balconies. All rooms offer en-suite facilities and are equipped with a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, TV and a courtesy tray. As well as a choice of standard or superior bedrooms there are a number of different room types so family needs can be met where possible, with interconnecting bedrooms, family suites and extra beds available. For families, the major attraction is perhaps the 7 miles of Bournemouth bay's sandy beach with its Blue Flag for cleanliness, with RNLI lifeguards on duty in the summer season. There's also the heated indoor swimming pool, the outdoor pool and the organised entertainment programme (check with hotel for dates of entertainment) that helps to keep children occupied (and gives the adults time to enjoy themselves too). PLEASE NOTE that from October to March, the restaurant will be closed, although bar food will be available daily from 12noon-9pm.
