Description of the accommodation

Located in the historic landmark what Arromanches, the hotel took the name to the artificial harbor that allowed unloading tons of equipment and goods in the Normandy landings in June 1944 (Operation Overlord). In fact, Mulberry also means the wild mulberry, of rapid growth, as was the establishment of the harbor by Lord Mountbatten, at the initiative of Winston Churchill. Established in 1842 by family Mary, the hotel was at the time a hostel grocery who "accepted boarders", was called "A descent tram" and then became "A lowering of train "when the railroad made its appearance in Arromanches-les-Bains. Today, the hotel doubles as a Mulberry P'tites Plates restaurant to serve you (Sophie in the kitchen, Christian service).
