971 Hotel Con Encanto

Small in size but with a huge potential. The 971 Hotel flourishes with charm and guarantees an unforgettable stay. The typical Minorcan style house was refurbished in the year 2010 by the designer Chiara Fabiani, who was inspired by Italo Calvino's novel "le citta invisibili", an absolute manifesto of good taste. The hotel is located in the very heart of the old city centre of Ciutadella, at a mere hundred meters from the port and an odd fifty from the breathtaking gothic style Minorca Cathedral. This location offers the visitor a wide range of alternatives such as a stroll amongst the shops and terraces, or admiring the unique fiestas of Sant Joan on the front line. Opening the whole year around allows its guests to experience the nitty-gritty of the island by rambling along the camí de cavallas (bridle ways) or encountering the prehistoric remains around the island.
