Holtegaard Bed & Breakfast

Welcome to Holtegaard Bed & Breakfast. Holtegaard is an old farm with a history that dates back to 1536. At the farm lives Amalie, Rasmus, Lone & Frank, our dog Frigg, and a few horses and cats.Some time before 2000 the farm was run down and well on its way to becoming a ruin. The first of January 2008 we took over the farm. From the start our philosophy has been that if the project shall succeed, there must be as much activity on the farm as possible. We are well on the way seeing as we have a carriage driving club and a riding club here, so the land and various outbuildings are in use.Another problem was what to do with a farmhouse of over 500 m2. The solution was to make a part of the farmhouse into a bed and breakfast, and thus Holtegaard Bed & Breakfast arose. The place opened in Easter 2009.We hope you will enjoy your stay.
