1879 National Trust-classified hotel Steampacket Inn located in the historic Port Precinct over looking the majestic Murray. Our beautifully furnished rooms can accommodate 30 guests, with a flexible mix of double and twin rooms, a family room for four and a loft to sleep six. A cot is available at request. Located in the heart of the Port of Echuca, our charming 3.5 STAR Bed & Breakfast offers five rooms on ground floor and six rooms upstairs. All rooms comfortably equipped with en-suite, split system air conditioning/heating, fridge, hair dryer,32" LCD TV/DVD, Electric Blankets and tea & coffee making facilities, you will also find original Murray pine ceilings, polished timber side tables and chests, classic English styled carpeting in rich burgundy, velvets and brocades, rattan china and crystal all combined to recreate the atmosphere and comfort expected by the adventurer traveller in Queen Victoria's reign. We have a shared sitting room upstairs over looking the River Red gums to the Murray River, please make yourself at home. We are fully licensed,so enjoy a drink to round off a perfect day whilst listening to the chorus of local birds at sunset. An iron & ironing board are available on request, & wireless broadband is connected. Or for a totally secluded stay enjoy our two bedroom self contained unit located right in the heart of Echuca featuring spa & small courtyard with BBQ. Breakfast is served in our dining room downstairs between 8 & 9 am or otherwise as pre-arranged. Please feel free to graze on our buffet of cereals, breads, and jams, Muesli and yoghurt,Fresh fruit salad & assorted fruit compote, Orange Juice & Apple Juice and Tea & Coffee. We are then pleased to offer Eggs, Bacon & Tomato served on Toast and cooked to your liking. After you take breakfast, step outside into the historic 19th century Port of Echuca, we are located closer than any other accommodation to the majestic wharf, the hub of the river trading which opened up inland Australia.
