FACELIFT FOR OUR 4*S HOTEL NEW LOOK FROM WINTER 2019 Following a series of successful measures to renovate and modernize our hotel in summer 2015, we have decided to make further improvements to additional areas of the Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl. ROOMS & SUITES Most of the rooms and suites overlooking the center of the village will receive a complete facelift, including new floors, bathrooms, décor, and facilities. More comfort, more space for rest & relaxation, and even more holiday feeling in the most snowsure resort in the Alps. What’s more, we have created several new suites and spacious luxury rooms on the 5th and 6th floors. These are perfect for winter enthusiasts, sports fans and all those in search of peace. Each room and suite offers magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. GLACIER SPA The Glacier Spa with its indoor and outdoor pool will receive a completely new look, including a brand new whirlpool and a large steam room. GYM On the 1st floor, we will be creating an exclusive new gym, which will be accessible directly from the spa. The gym will offer plenty of space for yoga, pilates, stretching and strength training as well as machines for cardio training. RECEPTION AREA & BAR The reception and lobby area will offer more space for guests arriving and departing as well as more space for advice and information during your stay. The reception area will become a cozy living room where guests can chat with friends and family. The day bar will be getting a new, less formal look. The bar and bar area will be given a facelift and offer even more flair as well as a regular get-together once a week. FACADE Last but by no means least, the Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl will be getting a completely new outer facade to reflect the quality inside. The Edelweiss & Gurgl was connected in 2018 to the environmentally friendly district heating power station in Obergurgl. To make the hotel even more energy efficient, we will be installing new insulation and energy-saving roof elements.
